Galaxy foregrounds on the CMB data

CMB maps are the main tool to constraint cosmological parameters and obtain information from the early stages of the universe. However, if these maps are not completely cleaned from foreground effects, these estimations could be biased. In a series of works, we address the imprint of a systematic effect of nearby galaxies on the CMB temperature data, and its possible relation with the non–gaussian features of the CMB, such as the anomalies and, particularly, the cold spot.
